Raw Food Cleanse Diet – Detox Your Way Back to Health in Five Days

You feel lethargic, don’t sleep properly, your patience is short. Perhaps it is the diet that is having a bad effect on your health? It may be that your body is as clogged up as a blocked drain. The American diet does that to you. Perhaps it is time for a raw food cleanse diet to detox your way back to health.

Day 1 – Take Action Now

Get started now. Don’t delay. No need to think about it. If you were to eat just raw food today, you’d feel the effects by the end of the day. It couldn’t be simpler. Choose a selection of fruit and vegetables you like eating. Perhaps your favourite apples or pears. Maybe pull together a green salad with celery, watercress, tomatoes. Just use uncooked fruit and vegetables and feel the difference.

Day 2 – Return To Your Old Ways

Strange thing to suggest. However start things off slowly and just go for the cleanse diet one day per week initially. Why? For one it is tough to maintain and you need to take time to adapt your lifestyle. Secondly, once you return to your old ways you will realise just how good you felt and look forward to returning to it the following week.

Day 3 – Break Bad Habits

What we are trying to achieve is to break bad habits. Why drink coffee in the morning? Your digestive system requires 2 litres of water per day yet coffee and tea have the opposite dehydrating effect. Crazy! How about the mid morning snack? You feel hungry and need something to stem the hunger like an apple or some nuts. Instead you eat a chocolate bar which does nothing for your hunger but gives an unneeded sugar hit turning to fat.

Day 4 – Learn What Raw Food Can Do For You

By now you will have had time to feel the different effects on your body of raw and cooked foods. Fruit and vegetables contain more goodness than any other type of food and eating them raw ensures none of the nutrients are lost. They also help your body and digestive system function far more effectively, releasing a lot more energy to make you feel more alive.

Day 5 – Set Yourself Targets

Now you know what raw food can do, decide how you’re going to incorporate it into your life – one day per week building to two then three. You can also measure your weight and cholesterol levels now and keep tracking them downwards to monitor your weight and cholesterol loss.

There are also many benefits you can’t measure such as higher energy levels, clearer skin, shinier hair and a radiant glow.
